All About Genomics was started as an initiative to provide basic information on various genomic technologies that are used in answering a range of biological questions. These technologies include Expression microarray, SNP array, DNA-PET (gPET), RNA-PET, RNA-Seq, ChIRP-Seq, ChIP-Seq, RIP-Seq, CLIP-Seq, Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), Hi-C, ChIA-PET, Exo-Seq and Allel-seq. The website is, however, not limited to these technologies, and new information will be added to accomodate new technologies that are invented and developed.

 

Given the complex and difficult-to-understand nature of the "-omics" (genomics, transcriptomics, regulomics, metabolomics, interactomics, epigenomics, theragenomics, microbiomics, exposomics, etc), a forum has been dedicated to facilitate discussion amongst scientists, postdocs, grad students and everyone else who works or is interested in working in this field. We hope that the forum would be a useful platform to assist one another and accelerate our quest in deciphering the "omics".
